Are there physical Wine in the Wild 2024 tickets?

Accepted Answer

There are no physical tickets. No matter the payment option, once the purchase is processed through the eventbrite.com website the ticket buyer will receive an order confirmation. When you arrive for the event simply present your valid ID (driver's license, passport, real ID) at time of entry.

I found someone reselling tickets online to this event, is this legit?

Accepted Answer

Sunset Zoo does not condone the resell of tickets to any fundraising event and caution the public to be weary of reseller scams. If you believe you have been scammed by a ticket reseller notify your bank or credit card company immediately and file submit a report at scan report it USA.gov.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Accepted Answer

Attendees must be 21 years or older to enter, even if you are not drinking wine. Guests must present valid ID such as a driver's license, passport, or real ID.

Can children or infants attend the event?

Accepted Answer

Due to alcohol being served at the event Wine in Wild is for adults only. infants, children, and anyone under 21 years or age will not be permitted.

Question 5

What are my parking options at the event?

Accepted Answer

Parking is available in the Zoo's main lot, in the field to the east, and the Manhattan High School parking lot. Carpooling is highly encouraged.

Question 6

What should I wear to the event?

Accepted Answer

Dress is business casual; keep in mind you will be strolling the Zoo throughout the event.

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Wine in the Wild is held rain or shine and is a fundraiser for the Zoo. As such, refunds are not offered. Your donation supports the Zoo and its efforts to "Inspire Conservation of the Natural World.”

Can I pay with check or cash?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to pay with cash or check you must do so in person at the Zoo's ticket booth starting April 20, 2024 during regular business hours. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Ticket cards sales are not available at Sunset Zoo for WITW.

Question 9

Can I leave my vehicle in the zoo parking lot overnight if I am unable to drive?

Accepted Answer

Get home safe! Event guests are permitted to leave their vehicle overnight. All vehicles must be picked up the next day by 5:00pm Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Question 10

Will the zoo open before Wine in the Wild?

Accepted Answer

Sunset Zoo will be open to the public at 9:30am and close early at 1:00pm to set up for the event. Expedition Cafe concession stand will be closed on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

What is the Code of Conduct?

Accepted Answer

During all fundraisers and special events designed for adults that include alcohol all guests, attendees, staff, volunteers, vendors, and members must follow the Code of Conduct to ensure a enjoyable, safe environment at all times. Learn more at https://www.sunsetzoo.com/492/Code-of-Conduct.

How do I "claim my tickets" or "go to my tickets" on the confirmation email I received?

Accepted Answer

At this time, attendees do not need to click on "claim my tickets" or "go to my tickets" on the confirmation emails from Eventbrite noreply@order.eventbrite.com. Sunset Zoo will have a master guest list so attendees do not need to present this email, simply present a valid ID.

Question 13

How do I change a name on a purchased ticket?

Accepted Answer

If you created an Eventbrite account you can access your order anytime to update any information on a ticket(s). If you purchased tickets as a guest on Eventbrite or in person at Sunset Zoo, please call Sunset Zoo at 785-587-2737 and staff can manually update ticket names.

Is there a Friends of Sunset Zoo Member discount on Wine in the Wild?

Accepted Answer

There is no FOSZ Member discount or zoo reciprocity discount available for Wine in the Wild tickets because of it's fundraising status.
