Attention Big Red One Desert Storm Veterans! Please join us on June 21-22, 2024 at Fort Riley, Kansas for a reunion open to all 1st Infantry Division Desert Storm veterans and guests. We will meet at 1800 hrs on Friday at the Courtyard by Marriott in Junction City, Kansas for hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. We will have a full day of activities at Fort Riley on Saturday and a dinner buffet and Memorial Service in the hotel that evening.
Call The Courtyard by Marriot at (785) 210-1500 and ask them for the special 1st ID Desert Storm Reunion rates which apply Thursday through Sunday. Room costs are $95 per night with the exception of Friday night which is $115 and includes a Saturday Breakfast Buffet.
The ticket price is $100 for Veterans and $80 for guests which includes hors d’oeuvres on Friday evening and the dinner buffet on Saturday (Kansas sales tax and Eventbrite fees will be added to the cost of your tickets upon checkout). The Veteran ticket includes one Reunion Logo hat. You have the option of purchasing additional hats, T-shirts and hoodies (T-shirt sizes Small to 2XL are $20; sizes 3XL and larger are $25; Hoodies in Infantry Blue, Armor Yellow and Artillery Red are $30 and hats are $25). We are coordinating a Dining Facility lunch on Saturday on a pay as you go basis. There will be multiple prizes for the raffle on Saturday evening to include three overnight room vouchers at the hotel, a bottle of 1st Infantry Division Bourbon and many other items. We would greatly appreciate anything you may be able to bring and donate for the raffle!
It has been 33 years since we came home to Ft. Riley and with the recent passing of our Division Commander, LTG Tom Rhame and the 1st Brigade Commander, MG Bert Maggart, this will be a reunion to remember!
