This is a virtual peer support group that is made for people going through crisis, depression and/or suicidal thoughts, or a history of suicidal ideation.
Feelings like these can often be difficult and isolating. Here you have a safe space to get together with others and support one another. It’s a group for people who have read or who are interested in reading the book "How I Stayed Alive When My Brain Was Trying to Kill Me: One Person’s Guide to Suicide Prevention" By Susan Rose Blauner, MSW, LCSW.
In this group, we can cover a few paragraphs to a few pages each week, based on how much of the discussion we might have based on any section in the book. Participants will get to share how they relate to what we read and support each other in a safe setting. All are welcome!
