About this event

  • 4 hours

Bring your skis/split, skins, and stoke for our breakfast club at Mount Hood! Join us for a monthly meetup touring series for all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people every second Friday of the month through June!

We will be meeting at Timberline at 7:00am, with a start time of 7:30am. Please be ready to rock and roll (skins on, properly attired with all safety gear and snacks/water) at 7:30am sharp in the lot.

What to expect

This is an unguided meetup activity to explore some of Mt Hood’s best uphill routes! All participants ride at their own risk. Please note that no instruction will be provided, so some uphill experience would be helpful. We will be remaining inside the ski area boundary.

Schedule

7:00am | Meet at trailhead to get ready
7:30am | Leave trailhead to start touring uphill
10:15am | Turnaround time to transition and start skiing down
Approx 10:30am/ 11:00am | Arrive back at parking lot for a post-activity hang and a raffle

What should I bring?

Ski / Splitboard touring equipment: AT skis or splitboard, skins, poles, boots. Food, water, warm layers, and safety gear. It is advisable to bring a backpack to store helmet, goggles, extra layers and gloves, food, safety equipment, and water. Mountain Shop can offer 30% off splitboard or AT ski rentals and avy gear if needed. Just mention you are with SheJumps at the rental counter. The discount is not available for online reservations.
