JD Warren & The Rudiment is a New York City-based jazz group led by the husband-and-wife duo of Jeremy & Dermel Warren. Formed in 2015, this talented ensemble has made waves in the jazz scene. Let me share some interesting details about them:

Album Release: On June 1, 2016, they released their debut album titled “Jeremy Warren - I Can Do All Things.” This album garnered critical acclaim, earning the distinction of being “Most Highly Recommended” by critics from publications such as Jazz Times, Improvijazzation Nation, All About Jazz, and AXS1.

The Rudiment has graced some of the top venues in the NYC area, including:

• Minton’s Harlem
• Club Bonafide
• Cornelia St Café

• 2016 Jazz at The Buckman Center in Memphis, TN
• 2017 Katy Jazz Festival in Katy, TX (where they conducted masterclasses for high school and college students)

• Musical Style: J&D Warren brings together their deep Soul & Gospel roots with NYC’s Hip-Hop & Jazz influences, resulting in a unique and captivating musical style.
