What to expect:

* Friendly faces welcoming you to The Boatyard Cafe, offering you a drink and some cake.

* Short talk from a guest speaker.

* Break into small groups for prompted discussion with the support of our Death Cafe Facilitators. Sharing our personal experiences can offer so much support for others. It also provides a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings on topics without worrying you will upset your loved ones by talking about it.

Who we are:

Sarahs Star Death Cafe is a supportive community, filled with people who feel just like you. Supporting each other to feel like themselves again. Encouraging each other to take steps towards the life they want to be living.

These groups will be kept small and intimate to ensure people feel comfortable joining in. If you are unable to attend please let us know so that we are able to offer the place to someone else.

This is not a fundraiser - The aim of this event is to take the stigma out of talking about death so it can be something people feel more comfortable with. Whilst this topic may sound heavy, these events are often filled with joyful connection and some laughter. Sarah’s Star is an advocate of celebrating life.
