Sad Girls Club Vinyl Experience

Join us for Sad Girl’s Club and come be in your feels with us on every 3rd Friday, from 7pm - 10pm.

For the month of June, we would like to explore and play and explore with scents and incense. We find scents can bring back a lot of memories and/or bring peace and solace to your soul.

In honor of father's day, we wanted to create something that would spark memories that would remind you of them. What better way to honor our loved ones than to share nostalgic stories while creating something that'll bring you back to them every time you light one up.

Vinyl Artist Feature: Nick Hakim, Wayne Snow

"I think that the whole project [Where Will We Go Pt. 1] collectively touches on a phase that I went through. There were a lot of things going on in my world that I had to deal with—death and, I don’t know, religion. I had a few friends of mine that died, some of my family members passed. I always kind of had a very conflicting perspective on religion growing up. I had one parent that was extremely religious and one parent that wasn’t religious at all. I’d think about it a lot. It’s, like, where in the mix are we after this? Like, if we’re just gonna be buried in the dirt or if there’s another place that we go to. I feel like that consumes a lot of people’s thoughts. It definitely messed with my head for a little while."

That idea filtered into my process with ‘Figurine’ and I brought it up with my collaborators so that they understood that it’s not just about the sound, it’s about the many layers of being a human.”

WHAT IS SAD GIRLS CLUB?

Jamie from Magpie Alchemy & Jenn from Baba's House are joining their sad girls tears and introducing a new event series that focuses on mental health, emotional releases & all the feelz.

Sad Girls Club will be convening again for another vinyl listening experience, where we're collectively work on a community altar and/or can journal, draw, color, puzzle, and/or close your eyes and intently listening. We'll come together after to discuss.
