About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

When we look at the reports of psychedelic experiences, we see that the person’s creative imagination and inner wisdom becomes briefly available to them. These natural innate states are entirely accessible without drugs, and this training explores both the map and some drug-free methods for opening this aspect of mind.

Remarkably, though known cross-culturally in the wisdom and meditative traditions of the world, these aspects of mind are ignored in modern Western psychology: the psychedelic-based movement is fortunately stimulating such an interest.

3 CEs are available for NYS LMHCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LCATs, NYS Licensed Psychologists and NYS Licensed Psychoanalysts upon completion of training.

Objectives:

U pon completion of the training, participants will:

- be able to provide clients with psychoeducation about drug-free transcendental states of consciousness.

-learn about a practical, clinical map for helping patients and clients to explore their innate higher states of consciousness.

-experience three safe, time-tested methods for exploring these higher states in yourself.

In accordance with the NY State Department of Education guidelines, in order to receive continuing education contact hours, a participant needs to be present for the duration of the workshop/training.
