About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join a vibrant community of curious writers who are seeking:

  • Inspiration
  • Freedom to express
  • Supportive Feedback
  • Professional Guidance
  • Consistency
  • Accountability

And to reclaim ease and joy in writing!

What are the benefits of Guided Writing?

Multidimensional prompts help you relax into your full potential, experience wonderment, and access scenes and memories in vivid, literary detail.

We start each session with a short somatic exercise.

Energy medicine and somatic movement:

  • Helps you arrive in the present moment
  • Calms the mind and helps connect to your body
  • Regulates breathing

Guided meditation

  • Reduces anxiety and activates imagination
  • Helps process emotions by favoring an observational stance. Emotions are revisited, not reactivated.
  • Overrides doubt with curiosity
  • Boosts creativity
  • Improves memory - writers often remark about something they wrote, “I had totally forgotten about this moment, but it came back so clearly!”

Sessions are intended to access a key emotional moment in your story. You’ll free-write, using a timer.

Working with a timer

  • Makes getting started easier
  • Mutes distractions
  • Establishes accountability
  • Increases motivation
  • Activates a sense of urgency
  • Retrains the brain to focus

Writing time is accompanied by Solfeggio frequencies, which enhance brain power by resonating in harmony with the natural resonance of the Earth.

Group support & reflection

  • Reduces loneliness
  • Transmutes dissonance into resonance
    • Writers go from: What did I just write? Is this any good? to feeling seen, heard and validated

By associating repeated positive experiences with writing, writers are better able to write independently and approach projects with curiosity and confidence.

We meet twice a month, for 90 minutes, on Tuesdays -- globally on Zoom.

4PM Pacific • 6PM Central • 7PM Eastern
