Lillie B’s House is a Black woman-owned, modern creative arts and spiritual sanctuary located in the historic Tremont District of Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 2024, under the intergenerational leadership of Rev. Dr. Felicia V. Black and Multidisciplinary Artist Courtney L. Black, we offer a variety of on-site and virtual community programs, ranging from Reiki sessions to writing classes, prenuptials to performances, spiritual petitions to poetry. LB's aims to inspire contemplation and community connection while guiding you in expanding your spiritual and creative horizons. Assembled with intention by the guiding hands of ancestral wisdom, just like your Granny’s living room, Lillie B’s House offers a comforting space for you to grow and be. Every object tells a story. Get ready to dive deep into the world of memory and associations with Nardine Taleb in this generative writing event!

THIS SATURDAY! Final seats available. Every object tells a story. In this two-hour generative workshop, we’ll write about the objects that carry our memories, people, and moments with them. Together, we’ll respond to prompts and read inspiring pieces by Toni Morrison, Nadia Born, George Saunders, and more. Come to write, to be inspired, or to build on work already in progress—everyone is welcome.<ul><li>Hour 1: Writing prompt, sharing, and discussing Nadia Born's "Oranges" and other provided excerpts.</li><li>Hour 2: Brief craft talk by Nardine, another writing prompt, and sharing our work</li></ul>
