About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 5 hours

We express ourselves without speaking, understand others without having heard a word. Bringing attention to this subtle but constant nonverbal exchange between parent and child, teacher and student, friends, partners in love, work, play, offers clarity and is key to honest communication.

Nonverbal communication develops attunement and sensitivity in all types of relationships and is especially helpful in bringing attention to the connection between body and mind. This workshop will focus your awareness, kindly and patiently, on what and how we communicate without words.

This online workshop is comprised of short presentations alternating with exercises and is presented in a step-by-step format, allowing plenty of time to take in the material. Eight (8) CEUs.

The teaching team is Roxanne Peterson, PhD, LMHC, RN, CHT, certified Hakomi therapist and senior trainer; and Kristina (Kris) Cook, LMHC, CDP, CHT, certified Hakomi therapist and teacher, Derek Althauser, CC, CHT, CTB®GL, certified Hakomi therapist and teacher.

Registration questions to Kris at kcook.mindful@gmail.com or (206) 335-8514.

Cancellation policy: Full refund available if participant cancels at least 72 hours before the event. Participants cancelling less than 72 hours before the event will not receive a refund and the ticket is not transferable to a different workshop.
