Jesse Diaz
Commander Jesse Diaz is currently a Department of Defense SkillBridge Intern with the Harvard University Central Administration team. As a military officer, he's spending time with Harvard Talent Acquisition where he's using his years of leadership, talent development, and recruiting to help him transition into the civilian world. He's spent his military career in operations saving lives, protecting the maritime border, and handling crises as an emergency manager.
He has a Bachelor's degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy in Civil Engineering, and a Master's of Professional Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park in Leadership Education and Development. In transition himself, Jesse believes in the value of networking while on the job hunt and welcomes the opportunity to professionally connect on LinkedIn to share best practices and lessons learned in his journey to finding the right career.
Tim Lapsley
Tim Lapsley is currently a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Harvard’s Central Administration Talent Acquisition team. He covers the Campus Services portfolio, which includes twelve university organizations that support the services, and delivery of university wide campus operations. Tim resides in Needham, MA, and attended Kenyon College in Ohio earning is Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Parking is limited around the Ed Portal so we recommend taking public transportation.

We are about a 15-20 minute walk from the Red Line Harvard Square station or Green Line -B Harvard Avenue station.
Several MBTA buses also stop near the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue: #66, #86, #70.
Parking information:
If you choose to drive to the Ed Portal please be prepared to utilize the two-hour on-street parking surrounding the Ed Portal or to park at Artesani Park and walk 10-12 minutes along Western Avenue to arrive at the Ed Portal. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the rear of the Ed Portal building on a first come, first serve basis. You may only use parking spaces in the rear of the Ed Portal building outlined in orange paint.
