Come to this educational program to remove the confusion surrounding Medicare! Whether you already are on Medicare or will be in the next year or so, this program will give you a grasp of the different parts of Medicare (A, B, C,D), what you can expect to pay for each part, the difference between Original Medicare and supplemental/advantage plans and how to avoid Medicare scams.

Bring your friends and your questions as Sandra will hold a question/answer segment after her presentation.

Sandra Kahlon is an Occupational Therapist who has been working with and advocating for seniors for 30 years. Her favorite position was a 17 year tenure as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at a skilled nursing facility and Rehabilitation center in the Capital District. There it was her role to be the liasion between the Facility and the insurance companies. That is where Sandra’s passion for advocating was ignited as it was up to her and her team of therapists to ensure that the patients at the center were granted enough days of therapy to return home strong, safe and confident.

Sandra left that facility to open a private practice and soon after became a licensed Medicare Insurance agent. When Sandra met with her members she saw that consistently they were confused, overwhelmed and unsure what their options were and which option was best for them. Members would report spending hours pouring over materials and speaking with several different agents on the phone only to wind up more confused then before they started. With Sandra’s strong knowledge of the Medicare system and the needs of seniors she created an easy system to help Medicare beneficiaries determine what course of action regarding Medicare was best for them and how to take it, in a single sitting.

Sandra’s professionalism and integrity coupled with her deep knowledge base has been a lifeline for her members who don’t know where to turn or who to trust. She is beyond excited to offer Medicare Coaching services.

When Sandra isn’t advocating for her members and coaching seniors she is a mother of three amazing daughters and two sweet golden retrievers. You can find her walking her dogs in various parks, at yoga and meditation classes and trying her hand at new healthy recipes.
