On Sunday, June 9th, everyone's invited to our Juneteenth Picnic! Join us for a day of celebration and community at Roundtree Park in Falls Church, VA. Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled event that celebrates freedom and unity. Enjoy delicious food, music, games, and more in a family-friendly atmosphere. Let's come together to honor this important day in history and create lasting memories.
We will enjoy a day of joy, community, and celebration at our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Party! Last year, we held a Juneteenth Dinner Party at Matchbox, a black-owned restaurant in Arlington, VA This year, we'll meet at Roundtree Park for our Juneteenth Cookout and Picnic!

We'll have grilled delights, courtesy of Chef Travis! Follow Travis on Instagram at TravishomecookingLLC. We'll also have refreshing beverages, scrumptious sides, desserts, and ice to keep the drinks cool and the vibes even cooler :-)
🎵 Entertainment Galore:
Groove to the rhythm of popular, family friendly music, show off your skills in sports competitions, join in onicebreaker activities, and play both classic and new games for all ages! Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn blankets, lawn chairs, sunblock, bicycles, sports equipment, and anything else you’d need to enjoy this outdoor celebration. Don't miss your chance to shine in our Juneteenth Open Mic – sign up in advance to perform and share your talents with the community!
🎪 Venue Vibes:
Roundtree Park has it all! Lush green lawns, tennis and basketball courts, restrooms, free, and ample free parking. Our Picnic will be under a covered pavilion for shade and relaxation. Come early, stay late, and soak up the sunshine and positive vibes!
🎟️ Admission Details:
- All attendees must check in upon arrival and will receive a wristband.
- In the spirit of unity and shared responsibility that reflects the virtues of Juneteenth, each adult is kindly requested to bring a food or beverage item to share at the event, or contribute $10 in advance to help cover event costs. Don't worry – we'll have options for payment at the door in case you can’t bring an item.
- Vendor Opportunities are only $50/Vendor, and includes a picnic table and admission for up to 4 of the Vendor’s Guests, and Sponsorship Opportunities are just $75. Join us in supporting this vibrant community celebration!
