About this event

From Instructor Rae: Bring me your torn, your frayed, and your threadbare - and I will teach you how to mend them! This workshop is for basic skills on keeping your clothes out of the landfill. I will teach what I am given, so make sure you bring your projects. Please note not to bring clothes that don't fit or have other tailoring needs- that's a separate class!

This class needs a minimum of 4 attendees to run

Open to ages 12 and up (under 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian)

Instructor Bio: Rae is a lifelong sewer and designer. They are committed to making sewing and garment design accessible to people who are often left out of the fashion world, such as plus size women, disabled people, and trans people. Rae has a service dog, Bea, who is the love their life. Oh, they're also in a committed relationship with the other love of their life, Michael, who is, in fact, human.

Masks are encouraged.

If you are sick or think you may have been exposed recently, please don't come!
