PCRI’s Homeownership Education and Counseling program is intended to assist low- to moderate-income, first-time homebuyers in Portland, OR to create a successful action plan towards homeownership. The first step for enrolling in our program, is to attend a Homeownership Orientation. We also offer educational workshops on a variety of homebuying and financial topics. Starting in 2023, PCRI will offer a HUD-approved Homebuyer Education course - this course will meet the education requirement for most Down Payment Assistance and Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) in the state of Oregon.
