About this event

  • 30 minutes

Join our incredible community of dedicated volunteers who provide more than 35,000 hours of their time annually in support of affordable housing.

We have opportunities for volunteers of all skill levels, in both construction and non-construction roles. Whether it’s swinging a hammer, processing donations at ReStore, or serving on a committee, individual volunteers are vital to our organization.

This 30-minute session includes a short presentation and will be held online.

No experience needed - we'll provide all the tools and training! Groups and individuals ages 16+ are welcome!

Please note this session is not the Habitat homeowner application session, nor related to applying as a Habitat homeowner.

At Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, we offer a hand up, rather than a hand out. Through our volunteer network, generous donors and sales from our two Habitat ReStores, we’re helping families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance to build a better life through shelter. In Dane County alone, one in eight people lives in poverty, including 16 percent of all Dane County children.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit organization, based on Christian principles and dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty housing. Habitat for Humanity builds with people in need regardless of race or religion and welcomes all volunteers and supporters.

Habitat for Humanity’s Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
