[FREE] Maternal Yoga

Pregnant and new mothers with their infants will stretch, strengthen and breath together. Open to prenatal and postnatal persons.

About this event

Prenatal moms: Feel more comfortable and confident during your pregnancy. Alleviate common discomforts of pregnancy such as swelling, back pain, and varicose veins. An emphasis is placed on soothing, relaxing breath work and meditation. Prenatal classes are for women at all stages of pregnancy.

Postnatal moms: Learn physical techniques to help rebuild come strength, tone back and pelvic floor muscles. while adding mindfulness techniques to manage and reduce stress. Babies get their very first taste of yoga with songs and gentle movement.

No previous yoga experience necessary, this class is taught by an instructor from the Harlem Yoga Studio.

Yoga mats and mats for babies provided, we suggest a blanket for babies for extra comfort.

A fter Yoga the space is available for Caregiver Hour: Baby Social Time
