Welcome to the Ebony Ice Annual Hike! Put on your walking shoes and join us for a fun time outside! We will meet at South Shore Terrace Kitchen & Beer Garden, then embark on a group walk along the beautiful shore, that will last approximately 1 hour. Afterward, we will fellowship together at the Beer Garden! Get ready to explore scenic trails, be with great company, and make memories with fellow Ebony Ice Members. See you there!


What is Ebony Ice. Inc.?

Ebony Ice, Inc. is a non profits organization, deeply rooted in our love for outdoor activities, particularly snow sports. Simply put our main goal is to encourage more black and brown people to immerse themselves in nature! We are a proud affiliate of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS) and while skiing and snowboarding are our main focus, we also organize outdoor adventures year-round as we are a community. Our members are active, engaged, and we welcome all outdoor enthusiasts to join us. Come check us out to learn more!

Since 1989, Ebony Ice Ski, Inc. has promoted winter and non-winter sports among minorities (African American and People of Color); developed educational programs among minority youth which stimulate and implement competitive and sportsman like attitudes and conduct; provide scholarship funds!

Who is invited to come?

All are welcome! Past members, current members, potential members- and bring a friend!

Will the hike be difficult?

We will stay on pavement so that everyone can join! If you reach your limit- feel free to turn around and meet us at the Beer Garden. Or if you are not interested in the hiking part- just save us a spot!
