About this event

  • 2 hours

This workshop is best for Intermediate-level crochet students who have

mastered all basic stitches and understanding of all crochet abbreviations

(CH,SC,DC,SL ST,BLO/FLO minimum). No stitches will be taught in this class, only

quickly reviewed. Must have basic understanding of how to read crochet

patterns.

Join our multi-talented Associate, Coco, to learn how to crochet and fashion this

island classic lei. The pikake/roselani (mini-rose or rosebud) crochet lei is a

wonderful project to create for your favorite grad or giving event. You may not

complete a full lei during the workshop, but you will go home with enough

materials, instruction and a pattern to help you complete the lei on your own.

Coco will also help you understand fastening-off your lei and decorating your

closure.

All supplies are included: rattail cord in your choice of cream or pinks; a skein of

green eyelash yarn; a crochet hook; and a pair of scissors.
