Child Loss Group

This group is intended for community members who reside in Middle TN, and family members of Alive Hospice patients regardless of location.

This support group is for adults who share in the experience of grief following the loss of a child ages two through adulthood. We all know the loss of a child at any time can be extremely challenging and isolating. Our hope is by coming together as a group supporting each other, your journey through grief will be a little easier. We hope to create a safe place where you are comfortable sharing your story (or just listening) and learning from each other about how to navigate your way through grief. We have a monthly topic for discussion, but our format is flexible to meet group members where they are and support them on their path.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, this group is provided free of charge. A suggested donation of $5 per session is appreciated.

Groups are held using the Zoom meeting platform. Participants will be asked to have their video and audio on during the group which will allow you to interact with facilitators and attendees. Unlike traditional webinars, we’re keeping our groups small and intimate in an effort to create community and combat the isolation that typically accompanies grief.

Registered attendees will receive the Zoom meeting link via email the day of the event.
