CERT training educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area, and trains them in basic disaster response skills with hands-on practice. Using the training learned, CERT members can assist others following an event when professional responders are not immediately available.

- Classes will be held at the Burlingame Community Center: 850 Burlingame Ave., Burlingame.
- For Thursday, October 16 only, class will be at Hillsborough Town Hall: 1600 Floribunda Ave., Hillsborough.
- The final Skills Development & Application class will be held at Fire Station 37: 511 Magnolia Ave., Millbrae.
