Lesson Helpers are vital to our program and badly needed! Here are some of the things you can do as a volunteer at BREATHE:
Sidewalkers (Lesson Helper): Walk beside the rider in lessons to provide physical and emotional support.
Horse Handlers (Lesson Helper): Help groom and tack the horses before lessons and lead the horse during the lesson.
Barn Volunteers: Help by assisting with cleaning stalls and paddocks, cleaning tack & equipment, feeding and grooming horses, and maintenance around the farm.
Barn Buddies: If you are under 14 years of age, you can volunteer alongside a parent or guardian age 18 or over. You may be asked to do barn chores and help with caring for the horses.
Office and Special Event Volunteers: Help with fundraising, special events, property maintenance, and assist with administrative projects.
Please call 608-504-2299 if you have questions or find that you cannot attend after you have signed up.
