Help us unveil the new State Historic marker for Bloomer park, enjoy a brief overview, enjoy some ice cream and then hike down to the Clinton River Valley – 130 steps down and then up, for a total distance of ¾ mile.

Bloomer Park property was first sold in 1825. It had a long history before it was purchased by Howard Bloomer to become a Michigan State Park in 1922. Hear the whole story of this fascinating park.
