Come join us as we celebrate urban nerd culture!! "Blerd Bash", a national tour that makes the anime and gaming fan experiences more accessible to urban communities, is coming to Dallas! We're bringing you an awesome event that fuses urban and otaku/gamer culture for a day packed with fun activities and good vibes.

🎶 Hip-hop/R&B Dance Party: Dance all night to the best old school and new school hip-hop and R&B with our live DJ.
🎮 Tekken 8 Tournament: Come test your skills in our double-elimination Tekken 8 tournament on PS5.
🛍️ Vendor Marketplace: Browse from a curated selection of unique vendors offering anime and gaming art, apparel and crafts that you might not find at the convention.
👺 Cosplay Extravaganza: Coming over from the con? Show off your creativity and skills by dressing in your favorite cosplay.
🏌️ Activities Galore: Experience augmented reality golf, batting cage simulators, digitally-scored darts, axe-throwing, and immersive-tech billiards at iCompete Experience, offering a unique range of entertainment options within the venue.

About the Venue
Immerse yourself in the ultimate entertainment experience at Vibe Lounge, nestled within the innovative iCompete Experience facility in Lewisville, Texas. Spanning 30,000 square feet, iCompete offers augmented reality golf, batting cage simulators, digitally-scored darts, axe-throwing, and immersive-tech billiards.
Tekken 8 Tournament
We will be hosting a double elimination PS5 Tekken 8 tournament starting at 4:00 pm. Tournament entry is FREE with your general admission ticket but spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Official registration for the tournament will take place on the StartGG page. Please ensure you read the full details to ensure your participation, and that of others, is as smooth as possible.
You are welcome to bring your own controller or fight stick but it is not required. Please follow the Facebook event page for updates and visit the StartGG registration page for official rules.
Tournament Schedule:
- 4:00 pm - Doors open, tournament check-in begins and warmups begin
- 5:30 pm - Waitlist players and walk-ups selected to backfill any registered player who has not yet checked in
- 6:00 pm - Tournament start
Depending on how many players register, the tournament could go until 10:00 pm or even later.

Frequently asked questions
Our "General Admission" ticket grants you access to the event only and does not grant additional access to the amazing activities that iCompete has to offer. In order to participate in those activities, you must purchase one of our add-on bundles listed at the bottom of the available tickets list.
Each add-on ticket grants 15 minutes/activity/per person. So say for example, you have a group of three (3) people and each person purchases the three (3) activity bundle, your group will now be allotted 45 minutes to complete each activity. That's a total of 135 minutes to complete all activities.
Each bundle add-on covers one (1) person but the activities can be completed in groups with anyone else who has also purchased a bundle ticket. If two (2) people would like to participate in a certain activity, they must both purchase any of the bundle add-ons that are available.
No. All activities and PourMyBeer Card balances must be redeemed and completed on the night of the event, from 8:00 PM April 13 to 2:00 AM April 14. We recommend starting your activities no later than 12:00 AM April 14 to ensure you have enough time to complete them.
If you decide you would like to purchase a greater bundle add-on to cover more activities for yourself, please reach out to us at events@hagentertainment.com and we will assist you will the upgrade. Please note you will have to pay for the different in the add-on price.
Unfortunately no. As this event has a no-refund policy, once you have committed to an activity bundle it cannot be downgraded or canceled. You can, however, transfer or sell this add-on to another attendee as you wish. This is something you would have to coordinate on your own.
There is no difference between the ticket tiers regarding the benefits of attendance or access to any of the activities. The ticket tiers represent waves of ticket releases. The tickets are cheaper the earlier in advance you purchase them and are more expensive closer to the event.
We can gladly accept a photocopy of your ID or an alternative form of ID that contains a photo and your birthdate such as a passport or temporary driver's license. Unfortunately, without any of these things, we cannot admit you to the event.
