Bambu 3D Printer Training

Learn how to turn your digital designs into real, three-dimensional objects! This hands-on training introduces you to 3D printer operation, preparing and slicing files, selecting materials, setting up a print, and safely operating the machine. Please note: This training focuses on using the 3D printer and preparing an existing digital file for printing. It does not include 3D modeling or instruction on how to create a digital design from scratch. Participants should bring their own print-ready file or use an available design.

Makerspace at Western Maryland Works is part of Allegany College of Maryland, but is open to the community and not just for college students. It is equiped with high-end industry grade tools and equipment, plus technicians with exceptional knowledge to help you learn to create your own personal projects, or even start your own business! If you are comfortable using a computer, using a mouse and keyboard, and working with basic digital files the digital fabrication lab is the creative hub for you! PLEASE NOTE: The technicians can help you learn how to prepare and use your file, but they will not create the design or file for you.
