Sign up for a lively discussion and an excuse to read (or reread) classical works of literature. To facilitate discussion, I will highlight some key points in each of the assigned readings and then we will open the floor for discussion.

The initial schedule is as follows:
The Iliad:

  • Books 1 & 2 - May 8th
  • Books 3 & 4 - May 15th
  • Books 5 & 6 - June 12th
  • Books 7 & 8 - June 19th
  • Books 9 & 10 - June 26th
  • Books 11 & 12 - July 10th
  • Books 13 & 14 - July 17th
  • Books 15 & 16 - July 24th
  • Books 17 & 18 - July 31st
  • Books 19 & 20 - August 7th
  • Books 21 – 22 - August 14th
  • Books 23 – 24 - August 21st

After The Iliad, the plan is to read The Odyssey and The Aeneid.
