Get ready to dance with Brendocha, a Peruvian-born, Vancouver-based DJ and event organizer known for fast-paced, energetic sets moving through Latin bass, baile funk, merengue and techno.

Brendocha is a co-founder of Club Bebé, a queer Latinx collective that curates events highlighting queer Latinx talent in Vancouver’s nightlife. Their cutting-edge style has taken them to stages in Toronto, Edmonton, Montreal, Lima and Seattle, as well as Bass Coast Music Festival and Boiler Room in 2024. They have shared stages with artists including BCLIP, Toccororo, Sukubratz, Rosa Pistola, Ms Nina, DJ G2G and Isa GT.

Presented as part of ¡Así Suena!, VLAFF’s free courtyard concert series, this high-energy DJ set invites festivalgoers, neighbours and passersby to gather, connect and dance together. No festival ticket or VLAFF membership is required. Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase or by donation. Everyone is welcome!

Registration is encouraged and helps us estimate attendance, but it is not required. This RSVP does not reserve a seat. Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to courtyard capacity. You do not need to print or present an Eventbrite ticket.
