Democrat Disability Town Hall

You don't have to guess what your candidates think about disability services. Ask them yourself, then hear what they have to say.

Raising Voices Coalition is hosting a candidate forum for Democrat candidates, built specifically for the Arizona disability community. Statewide candidates are confirmed to attend. Legislative candidates have been invited and we expect strong turnout, though individual attendance cannot be guaranteed.

The evening has two parts. First, you'll walk the room. Each candidate has their own table, and you can talk to whoever you want, about Medicaid, home and community-based services, DDD funding, the direct care workforce, whatever is on your mind. Community partner organizations will also be there with resources and information.

Then every candidate in attendance takes the floor for 2 to 4 minutes to introduce themselves, share why they're running, and answer 1 to 2 predetermined questions in front of the whole room.

This is for self-advocates, caregivers, parents, and industry partners. If disability policy touches your life in any way, you belong in this room.

Raising Voices Coalition does not endorse candidates. We're not telling you who to vote for. We're making sure you get real answers before you decide.

General Admission — For self-advocates, caregivers, parents, industry partners, and anyone in the disability community who wants to attend and ask questions.

Candidate Registration — For Democrat candidates who want a table at the forum and a spot on the floor to introduce themselves and answer questions.

Third Party Candidate Registration — For independent and third party candidates who want to participate in the same way, with their own table and floor time.
