The Fargo Fashion Week Top Model Experience is an immersive, four-day journey designed for aspiring and developing models who want to step behind the scenes and discover what it takes to work in today's fashion industry.

This isn't just a runway show—it's a real-world experience that combines education, professional coaching, portfolio development, and the excitement of Fargo Fashion Week.

Throughout the experience, participants will:

• Learn the business of modeling through a hands-on Model Bootcamp.
• Receive professional coaching in runway, posing, movement, confidence, and industry expectations.
• Participate in a professionally directed editorial photo shoot to strengthen their portfolio.
• Work alongside photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and fashion professionals.
• Experience the excitement of preparing for and walking in a live Fargo Fashion Week runway show.
• Build confidence, make new connections, and gain valuable insight into careers in fashion.

Experience Schedule

Thursday, September 17

Orientation & Welcome 5pm-7pm
Meet your fellow participants, receive your event schedule, learn what to expect throughout the experience, and get ready for an exciting Fashion Week weekend.

(Optional) Evening Runway Coaching Event 7pm-8pm
Kick off Fashion Week by attending an optional runway show and experiencing the excitement of Fashion Week from behind the scenes. This event is for models who would like to learn how to walk confidently for fashion shows.

Friday, September 18

(Optional) Downtown Community Partnership Fashion Show – Fargo Fashion Week Finale 3pm-7pm
Step backstage, work with industry professionals, and walk the runway during the official Fargo Fashion Week Finale in Downtown Fargo.

Saturday, September 19

Model Bootcamp 10am-7pm
Learn the business of modeling through hands-on coaching in runway, posing, movement, confidence, branding, professionalism, and industry expectations.

Sunday, September 20

Editorial Photo Shoot 10am-7pm
Put your new skills into action during a professionally directed editorial photo shoot while receiving personalized coaching and creating portfolio-worthy images.

Limited participant spots are available to provide personalized coaching and a high-quality experience for every participant.

Recommended for ages 13 and up. No previous modeling experience is required.
