This special concert welcomes the Williams-Hill Collection to The Shop at Queen City Music Studios!
ABOUT ROBIN & LINDA WILLIAMS:
For more than four decades, Robin and Linda Williams have been among America’s most beloved and respected folk and country music duos. Known for their rich harmonies, thoughtful songwriting, and authentic roots sound, they have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, earning a devoted following with music that blends folk, country, bluegrass, gospel, and Appalachian traditions.
The Williamses were longtime favorites on A Prairie Home Companion, appearing regularly on the iconic public radio program for 41 years. Their distinguished career has included performances at Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, and Austin City Limits, as well as the release of 23 acclaimed recordings. Their original songs have been recorded by artists including Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kathy Mattea, Tom T. Hall, and The Seldom Scene.
Praised by critics and peers alike, Robin and Linda continue to captivate audiences with music that is timeless, heartfelt, and deeply rooted in American tradition. As No Depression magazine wrote, “They don’t play at being country—they are country.” Based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, more specifically, right here in Staunton, they remain among the most enduring voices in American roots music.
