Lazy Genius Book Club

Lazy Genius Book Club

Overview

A no-homework book club. Read, reflect, and connect together. Drop in anytime, no catching up required, but bring a mug if you'd like tea.

This is a book club designed for real life. No homework, no pressure, no falling behind. We gather, we read together, and we explore what the words bring up.

Each session includes live reading, guided reflection, and thoughtful conversation. Some gatherings may continue a book from the previous time, while others may introduce something entirely new. Either way, you can drop in whenever it works for you and still feel fully part of the experience. No need to buy the book. Just bring your journal.

This collaborative journey helps increase self-awareness and clarity. Dive deep into meaningful literature while exploring your own thoughts and experiences in a supportive, engaging environment. Perfect for those seeking personal growth and a deeper connection with themselves and others through the power of shared reading and reflection.

Our first gathering will feature A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. It is a heartwarming tale about a tea monk and a robot exploring questions of purpose and fulfillment in a post-human world.

Come as you are, listen deeply, share if you’d like, and let the experience meet you exactly where you are.

Bring your journal and a mug for tea.
