Cuddle Sound Bath: A Consent-Centered Experience of Touch & Sound
A consent-centered cuddle experience blending caring touch and a deeply calming crystal bowl sound bath. Attend solo or with a friend.
Touch is a powerful regulator of the nervous system, but only when it is chosen, attuned, and safe.
Cuddle Sound Bath weaves together a short, guided consent workshop, platonic cuddling, and a deeply calming sound bath. This offering is designed for individuals to attend on their own or with someone they know.
We’ll begin with a gentle, accessible consent practice that supports participants in:
- listening to their own body cues
- expressing clear yeses, nos, and maybes
- navigating touch with presence and respect
- practicing choice without pressure or obligation
From a neuroscience perspective, agency is key: when the body experiences choice and predictability, the nervous system is far more likely to shift into safety and relaxation. This consent container supports your body feel resourced enough to connect.
After the short workshop, participants will be invited (never required) to engage in platonic, consent-based cuddling with others in the space. Cuddling may look like:
- holding hands
- sitting back-to-back
- side-by-side contact
- hugging
- resting your head on someone’s lap
- spooning
- or choosing to remain nearby without touch
Once everyone settles into a mutually agreed-upon position, a crystal bowl sound bath begins. The steady vibration and harmonic tones support parasympathetic activation, while caring touch—when chosen—can encourage the release of oxytocin, the hormone associated with safety, bonding, and emotional regulation.
This experience is not about romance. It is about learning how to stay connected to yourself while being with others and letting rest happen from there.
You are always welcome to participate at your own pace, change your mind, or enjoy the sound bath without physical contact.
This experience is for you if:
- you’re curious about consent as a felt practice, not just a concept
- you want to explore safe, platonic connection
- you’re interested in nervous-system regulation and embodied presence
- you want to practice clear communication around touch
No prior experience with cuddling, consent workshops, or sound baths is required.
