Indie Folk Live! with Justin Grant, Isaac Hallal, and Jonah McGuire
Justin Grant returns to Carbondale and back to the Varsity for his Indie Folk home show with Isaac Hallal and Jonah McGuire
Justin Grant and the band are coming back to Carbondale for Indie Folk Live -- his first home show, and he's bringing rising stars Jonah McGuire and Isaac Hallal to round out the night.
Justin Grant is an indie folk artist from Carbondale, Illinois, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. His music blends warm acoustic storytelling with subtle alternative textures, drawing from intimate folk, soul, and modern indie influences. Inspired by artists like Jack Johnson, Elliott Smith, and Hey, Nothing, his catalog has earned over 38,000 combined streams on Spotify. Justin recently released his newest single, “Do You Even Know?”, a powerful reflection on mental health struggles and the quiet grief of feeling like someone you love is no longer fully there.
He works closely with his brother Jackson, who produces and helps shape Justin’s sound. Together, they have built a catalog focused on honest songwriting and simple, intentional production. Now settled in Nashville, Justin is focused on growing his audience, releasing new music, and carving out his place in the indie folk scene. Check out Justin https://linktr.ee/justingrantmusic
