Overview

Kids can stay creative and engaged all summer long at A&H's FREE Summer Family Art Workshops on our National Historic Landmark campus!

At the Art & History Museums Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on art workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.

On July 8, we'll introduce children to the wonderful world of fiber arts! Families will explore yarns in different colors, textures and weights as well as beads and embellishments to create their own framed mini tapestry. Families can also visit our "Plein Air" our outside playspace for surprise art activities each week!

Space and supplies are limited (one mini tapestry per child), so reserve a spot for your family today!

Be sure to check out all six weeks of our FREE Summer Family Art Workshops!

Wednesday, June 10, 2026 - Week 2: Nature Wands

Wednesday June 24, 2026 - Week 3: Soft Sculpture Bugs
