Where is the Boo! at The Bay event located?

•	This year, all events, including all concerts, will be held on the Common Ground lawns in The Bay park on Blvd of the Arts (1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, 34236).

How do I get to The Bay park?

The primary vehicle entrance is off of 10th St to the west of the Roundabout at 10th St and N. Tamiami Trail.
The primary pedestrian entrance is on Blvd of the Arts (6th Street).

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

o	Free parking (incl. Handicapped) is located along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, in front of Van Wezel and Blue Pagoda (655 N. Tamiami Trail) and in the nearby Rosemary District. NOTE: Parking around The Bay site may be somewhat limited as there is a Van Wezel event this same evening.

Someone in my group has mobility challenges, what do we do?

Accepted Answer

The Bay is designed to be "One Park for All" and is built to full ADA compliance. Handicapped parking is available in front of the Van Wezel and Blue Pagoda (655. N. Tamiami Trail). Please bring your own seat for the movie.

Will Food and Beverage be available?

Accepted Answer

o	Yes! Come early and come hungry! An assortment of Food Trucks will be on hand serving delicious food beginning at 5pm -- including Killik's Kitchen, Nakos Tacos, PopStroke and King of Pops. Beverages, including Boo-licious Frozen Lemonade are available at The Nest Café.

Is seating provided for the movie?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no. Limited seating is provide around the movie viewing area. However, large crowds are expected so please bring your own lawn chairs to ensure you have a comfortable seat.

Is this event appropriate for a child with Sensory-Friendly needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no. You are the best judge for what is best for your child. Please look at the Sensory-Friendly Boo! at The Bay event offered from 5-6pm for those who prefer a less stimulating environment. This special hour includes the fun of Boo! at the Bay - with reduced crowds, noises, and surprises.

How do I hear about location changes or event cancellations?

Accepted Answer

Location changes or event cancellations will be posted on The Bay Website, Facebook, and Eventbrite up to one hour before start time, as the weather changes quickly.

Question 9

May I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All pets must be non-aggressive and on up to a 6-foot leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
