Nuritzi is the President of the Board at theGNOME Foundationas well as a founding member and Special Projects Manager atEndless. She is passionate about making computing universally accessible and advocating the power of free and open source software.

This is part of a larger event, the <A HREF="http://las.gnome.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LAS GNOME conference</A> that is in the same venue. LAS GNOME is a conference meant to promote a new Linux App ecosystem and help app developers learn about cutting edge technology that will help them widely distribute, and even monetize their Linux apps. We welcome members of the public!
 
During this GNOME Engagement Team BoF (Birds of a Feather) session, we will be working on projects like GNOME's social media plan for the upcoming year, and starting to talk about a gnome.org website redesign. 
For those unfamiliar with GNOME's Engagement team, our goals are to help GNOME grow and to engage with both the internal and external community. Specifically, our goals are:

<LI>External: PR, marketing, attracting new contributors, and fundraising.</LI>
<LI>Internal: retaining contributors, facilitating internal communication, and promoting cross-team collaboration.</LI>
</UL>
 
We welcome newcomwers and love fresh ideas and new perspectives. Feel free to join us for part of the BoF, or the whole event.
