The Tallgrass Chamber Choir, led by Artistic Director Jake Narverud, is a professional ensemble comprised of musicians from across the Great Plains. Founded in 2009 and named after the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve in the Flint Hills, their repertoire includes Gregorian chant, modern editions of Renaissance and Baroque choral works, and new music written by prominent national and international composers.A TALLGRASS CHRISTMAS: CLASSIC CAROLS &amp; HOLIDAY FAVORITESTallgrass Chamber Choir with Special Guest Artists: Violetta Strings, Soprano Saxophonist Nick May, Pianist Mirim Kim.KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - SUNDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2021 (3:00pm)ST. JOHN'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH - 6900 Ward Parkway.DOORS OPEN AT 2:30 PM.TICKETS:$20 General Admission$5 Students (22 and under)Tickets must be purchased online and will not be sold at the door. All tickets are non-refundable.Doors will open 30 minutes before the scheduled concert start time. Please have your eTicket ready to scan at the door when you arrive.The concert duration is 1 hour 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.Concert attendees are encouraged to wear a mask during the performance.All performers have been vaccinated for COVID-19 and will perform without masks.Please note: any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at this concert.
