Zorvino Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery that originally began as a hobby. Jim and Cheryl Zanello purchased the 80 acre lot in Sandown, NH in 2000 after retiring, planted a few vines in their new backyard and spent time building projects in the woodshop when 4 years later Zorvino Vineyards was established. The “Zor” in Zorvino comes from the origin of their family name Zorzanello and “Vino” is Italian for wine. Family and Wine… the perfect pairing!

In the first years, 150 cold climate vines, mostly hybrids, were planted and now we have grown to roughly 2500 vines on-site, offering more than 40 different wines including reds, whites, fruits, blends, bubbles, and dessert wines. We are most widely known for our 100% fruit wines and unique Z lab creations but have a wine for every preference.

When it was built, the venue was never intended to be used as an event space, but the post and beam design appealed to many visitors, with its rustic elegance and open concept, leading to several requests for hosting weddings and special events. This is how our journey into becoming an award-winning wedding and event venue began. We now host over 100 events each year where guests can enjoy many of our picturesque amenities from the gazebo overlooking the vineyard, man-made koi pond, and vine-lined archways to the sun-drenched patio, fire pits, and bocce ball courts.

All of the woodwork, tasting tables, benches, railings, and creative details you see at Zorvino are designed by Jim Zanello and created by hand utilizing wood from the property. The combination of beautifully landscaped grounds, rustic ambiance, and large variety of wines has not only made Zorvino a perfect place for a wine tasting or a wedding but a successful venture as well.

With the hard work of our extended Zorvino family, the winery and venue continues to grow and prosper. We are very thankful for the support we receive from our local community and for all our visitors from near and far.
