Curriculum is suitable for Virtual/Hybrid/Standard K-12 Classroom learning environments. Our website includes links to hands-on activities that can be downloaded and completed in the classroom or at home. Both live and on-demand taped presentations will be offered. Several earth science topics will be covered, targeted to middle and high school science students.FREE CLASSROOM MATERIALS will be mailed to classroom teachers who register and attend the live video sessions. Supplies are limited; the first 50 teachers to attend will receive an Earth Science Week toolkit. Additional materials will be distributed to teachers as they become available.Who produced this program? The Austin Earth Science Zoomerama was developed by the <a href="https://www.beg.utexas.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bureau of Economic Geology</a> in the <a href="https://www.jsg.utexas.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jackson School of Geosciences</a> at <a href="https://www.utexas.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The University of Texas at Austin</a>. Our supporters include partners from governmental agencies, academia, scientific societies, and private businesses.For the past 20 years, our professional presenters have provided face-to-face interaction between students and geoscientists. This year, because of the pandemic, we continue our support of students, teachers, and parents by offering free web resources and live videos. Our goal is to increase your students’ understanding of earth science topics and careers.Note: A free <a href="https://zoom.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom.us</a> account for attending the live video sessions. Also, a free <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Eventbrite</a> account is required to register for live sessions.
