ZingTrain Workshop

The West Virginia Hive Network is the entrepreneurship program of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, working to create and support an entrepreneurial culture in southern West Virginia. Based in Beckley, the West Virginia Hive's administrative offices are located at 129 Main Street, Suite 406, and the WV Hive Business Hub is located at 205 S. Kanawha Street. With satellite offices in Oak Hill, Summersville and Hinton, the WV Hive provides services to grow new and existing businesses in a 13-county region of West Virginia –  Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas, Summers, Webster, Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Mercer, Monroe, Wyoming, McDowell, Logan and Mingo counties. In addition to business advising, the Hive offers a range of services to help you launch, stabilize, or grow your business, including access to coworking and incubation space and makerspace for early-stage prototyping.

ZingTrain is an interactive, engaging, in-person workshop that explores Zingerman's successful management and customer service model.

The WV Hive is leading a regional initiative to improve customer service among frontline businesses, which will kick off March 25-26 with a customized and personalized training workshop at the Tamarack Conference Center. Judy Moore, executive director of the WV Hive and deputy director of NRGRDA, said we need to offer best of class guidance to help the New River Gorge region and southern West Virginia stand head and shoulders above other regions for tourist experiences, business transactions, and overall customer service and hospitality. Every dollar people spend in our region and every person who decides to relocate here or return for more visits is an economic multiplier for our community and economic betterment. Moore said the WV Hive is partnering with regional chambers of commerce, convention and visitor bureaus, business leaders and others to promote the March 25-26 training sessions, titled “growing your business through a culture of service.” The training session -- valued at $1,500 -- is available at only $50 per person (including snacks, beverages and lunch) thanks to the support of the WV Hive.For questions, contact Hannah Morgan at hmorgan@nrgrda.org or (304) 460-4483 Ext. 114.EVENT WILL BEGIN AT 8:30 AM BOTH DAYS.
