Welcome to The Beet, a ‘third place’ we’ve created to foster a simple mission: be vocal, eat local. From the events the community holds in the space to the guests we feed, we are serving up local food with a side of education, activism and empowerment in a way that only Ellwood’s can. The Beet provides Richmonders with a gathering place for community building, exchanging ideas, and educating themselves in a welcoming, inviting way.The Beet is available to rent Monday through Wednesday for your health-related seminars, as well as your clubs, meetings, parties, networking groups and others social events! Learn Erica’s tricks of the trade and leave with actionable tips to be a better steward of the environmental!</P>

This Richmond native embarked on a journey towards a zero waste lifestyle earlier this year in response to the environmental destruction that is being caused by over-consumption. She’s a wife and mother to a vivacious toddler with whom she enjoys sharing her love of nature and the outdoors. You’ll often see her in Ellwood’s or on her <A HREF="https://www.instagram.com/awastenotkindoflife/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Instagram</A> sharing her passion and knowledge with our community, along with plentiful tips she’s discovered on her zero-waste way!</P>
