This workshop is hosted by San Francisco Environment Department and will cover all zero waste requirements for events; a review of San Francisco's Mandatory Composting and Recycling requirements, event foodware, packaged water ban, and hydration station, acquiring Recology Event Services, event greening services, edible food recovery and donation at events (SB-1383 – State Mandate), and 10% reusable cup requirements and reusable cup implementation.Event producers seeking a special event permit with City of San Francisco agency must attend one of the following Zero Waste Events Trainings. Please bring your own reusable cups as this event will be zero-waste.
