We are happy to announce that Moon Dragon will be continuing the tradition of Adult Zen Coloring we did in our previous incarnation as Metaphysics’ A Spirited Space’. WE will have the event at our space at 25w Market street in downtown Lewistown.
So come on Downtown for a FREE evening of Zen Adult coloring. This is a great way to get out and enjoy the company of other adults and slip into the relaxing world of Zen coloring.
No Stress, We will provide the materials to color, the materials to color on, and a relaxing atmosphere, all you need to do is bring yourself for the night. No artistic skills needed. We ask all attendees are 18 and older, as our younger ones often break the calm vibe.
What is Zen coloring?
Zen coloring is a way to relax and let your mind rest while your hands work. It is sort of the same thing as doodling, however you have no stress of a blank page. You can experiment with colors and textures while you fill in the blanks. The activity of the hands, merges with the background of music to free the mind of the day to day, allowing one to really relax and enjoy the moment. You can let the stress of the day wash away refreshing your mind and spirit.Coloring in a pattern is a lot like completing a paper labyrinth. Except with Zen coloring there is nothing to trap you, there is no required solution. You just wander down the path until you’re done. It feels simultaneously like repetition and progression, which makes this calming and soothing.
We will start about 5:30. We will explain the process and set you up with your artistic page of choice. You then relax, color as much or as little as feels right. If you don’t get done, no worries, you can complete it at home, or save it will the next month, when we will have this class again. If you cannot make it at the official start, again, no worries. Come when you can, stay as long as you can.We hope to see you there. Depending on the month, we may have live acoustic music or a blended mix of relaxing sounds. If we do, we will be sure to announce that somewhere in the event.
We have free tickets on the Eventbrite more to help gauge interest. Please feel free to 'buy' one of the tickets to allow us to get a feel for how many are coming, as a bonus, Eventbrite will send you reminder emails about the event, and that is awesome in this busy world.

There is ample Street parking in front of the shop and around the square( which is free after 5pm) and a parking lot behind the shop. The main entrance to the lot is off 3rd street.
We always offer our Gaming space for use by our gaming community. We keep the space safe and open to all.
