The Enso (円相, "circular form") is a sacred, hand-drawn circle in Zen Buddhism representing enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and the void. Painted in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes, it symbolizes the "mind free to let the body create," capturing a moment of pure, mindful existence.
