YWCA STEM E3 Coding Jam Session

YWCA Boulder County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.For over 95 years, YWCA Boulder County has served as a resource to women, children, and their families. We provide services such as emergency drop-in childcare, free financial counseling, parent education classes, youth empowerment programs, racial equity programs, and more. Throughout its history, YWCA has been at the forefront of most major social moveements in the United States as a pioneer in race and gender justice and the empowerment of women. Originally founded as a Christian organization, YWCA has evolved into the non-sectarian social justice organization it is today, culminating in an official name change in 2015. YWCA Boulder County is a local association of YWCA USA, receiving strategic support from the National Office.

Free introduction to coding presented by YWCA Boulder County. This is a virtual event held on February 12, 2021.

Join us for a free introduction to coding, presented by the YWCA. Participate in hands-on coding activities and hear from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) panel on their experiences as women in STEM. Register your student(s) on this link by February 11th. On February 12th, log on by 11:00 a.m and the event will begin at 11:15 a.m and will end at 1:00 p.m. The first 10 students to log on will receive a prize!Parents:Please fill out this form for your student. Include your name and your email, not student&#x27;s email. The YWCA staff will send the event link to your email address. When you receive that email, please share the event link with your student. The YWCA will also send a follow-up email after the event to gather information for a report to our sponsors. We appreciate your help in registering your student. Thank you!
