YWCA and Monroe County have opened a 24/7 warming shelter for community members in need this winter, and they are thrilled to welcome us to the center to serve dinner! We have secured a generous donation from Wegmans, and will coordinate prepping the food beforehand. The event itself will entail bringing the food and supplies to the shelter, then heating and serving to residents. A warm meal for those in need will in turn warm our own hearts! Help is welcome from anyone who is willing to help shop for supplies and prep the food beforehand - we will be reaching out to attendees who register to gauge their interest in the meal prep vs. serving.
