<P><SPAN>Powerful patterns arise in large amounts of data. As the mass of digital information swells, we inch closer to fulfilling decades-old science fiction prophecies. Even the looping nature of time itself has been warped by industrial technology. With that eerie truth as a backdrop, Yuri Pattison uses installation, video, and sculpture to investigate the social ramifications of our networked age. Is our perception of contemporary infrastructure and reality shaped by a larger conspiracy? Join us to hear his creative interpretation in his talk, <EM>image circulation, pattern recognition</EM>. </SPAN></P>
