Thursday, July 17th: Smart Grid Panel Series - Building a Software Business in Smart Grid

Join YPE and industry experts for the second in a series of thought provoking smart grid panels on July 17th!

Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) Bay Area is pleased to host a panel discussion on The California grid under pressure: Building a software business in smart grid, on Thursday, July 17th. Prominent speakers from successful smart grid software companies will be on the panel -- including the CEOs of OSIsoft and Gridium and senior executives from C3 and PG&E.

This discussion will be the second in a series of four Bay Area smart grid events hosted by YPE this year. The purpose of these events is twofold: to create an opportunity for industry leaders to discuss leading-edge trends in the sometimes-amorphous smart grid space, and to build a space where people in the multidisciplinary smart grid industry can network and get to know one another.

The all-star local panel will be:

Moderator:

Mike Greene, former Junior Partner, McKinsey technology and energy practices

Panelists:

Tom Arnold, CEO, Gridium

John Davidson, Senior Product Manager, Opower

Rob Jenks, Director, Strategy, C3 Energy

Patrick Kennedy, CEO, OSIsoft

Tahir Paroo, Director, Grid Operations Systems, IT Business Technology Group, PG&E

Bring your burning questions, insights and business cards. We hope you can join us!
