Our ASG Youth Lineman Camp is designed specifically for Offensive and Defensive lineman between the ages of 6 and 14 years of age looking to take their play to the next level. Coaches from both ASG and Delbarton High School will be working with Campers throughout the 3 hour camp. Players will be divided by age and participate in a curriculum specifically designed for their current abilities. All players will be developed from the ground up. Our Coaches will focus on fundamental techniques players of all levels need to master to be productive Offensive and Defensive Linemen. Players in the 11U to 14U group will be filmed durning the camp and a film session will be offered from 8 - 9 p.m. in Delbarton's Sports Complex. Coaches will review film from camp and show game film of high school players executing the techniques being taught in camp.

What equipment is required for the camp?

All Players should wear athletic shorts, cleats and mouthpiece. Shirts will be provided for all campers at registration.

Will there be contact at this camp?

No. This camp is designed specifically to develop fundamental skills. Players will work against shields or "on air" as we teach them proper footwork, hand placement and body positioning in the run and passing game.

Who will be coaching at the camp?

The camp will be coached by current Air Sports Group (ASG) coaches, Delbarton position coaches and current Delbarton football players. Players of all ages will receive the highest level of instruction available.

My player is young and inexperienced. Will he be playing against older, bigger players at the camp?

Players will be divided by age and ability. At no time will a small, inexperienced player be asked to work against a much larger and more physical player in drills.

Will there be awards given out at this camp?

This Youth Lineman Camp is designed specifically as a developmental camp. This is not a showcase. We will focus exclusively on fundamental techniques players will need to master as they move through their football career. Players WILL NOT be placed in 1v1 full contact drills like other camps.

Does my player need to play for Air Sports Group to attend the camp?

No. This camp is being offered to all players between the ages of 6 and 14 who will be playing the Offensive and/or Defensive Line this fall regardless of where they will play in the Fall.

What time should I have my player at the Camp?

Players should arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the start of camp to confirm registration, group assignment and receive their camp T-shirt.
